The One with My Return

Hi Y'all! Sorry I've been away for so long this time. You know how it is. Busy, blah, blah, blah. So, I bought a laptop in the hopes that it will give me some more time for blogging. It's a beautiful new iBook. I also got an iPod nano to go with it. I haven't had much time to play with them yet. So, let me catch everyone up on the last 2 months.

My mom was here in Feburary for a week. She had to come down for a checkup with her cardiologist. All is well. Then my dear friend Craig was here for a visit. We went downtown for some drinks and had an nice time. It was great to see him again. Next I went to NYC with several of my friends. I will be posting about this in more detail later. We had a GREAT time! St. Patrick's day I went downtown with friends and got totally trashed, which I had not done in awhile. I'm doing the Jenny Craig diet, so I don't really drink as much as I used to. Although, I did also go to a wine festival in Grapevine 2 weekends ago and got a little toasty, but twice in the last two months in nothing. This next week I am taking my mom on a vacation to Charleston and Savannah. Neither of us have ever been to either city, and we are both looking forward to the trip. I am nervous about the fact that my mother has not flown in almost 30 years though. Hopefully, she'll be ok. Oh, I almost forgot. I'm also training for the Capital of Texas Triathlon. This means that I am doing 2 hour workouts five times a week. It's exhausting, but I'm starting to like it.
