The One with Victory
This past weekend was one of the most important games of the year, the Red River Shootout against OU. Texas finally finally won, 45-12, after 5 years of losses. YEA! I woke up early to wait outside Pluckers so we could get a table. I got there around 10:30, and I'm very glad because there was already a line. We had a great table right in front of the big screen tv. We drank alot of beer, ate some wings, and watched a great game. The restaurant was packed with a sea of orange, and everyone was pumped up. I had so much fun! Hook 'em!
Saturday evening, I went to a company softball game. It was the Austin crew against the San Antonio crew. We thought it was just for fun, so our team had no formal practices. Well, it turns out the San Antonio crew plays in a league. When I saw they had matching shirts, I knew we were in trouble. They totally kicked our ass, twice. But, everyone still had a great time. We had hot dogs and drank more beer. I was so excited about UT winning, I didn't care about the humiliation. It was a great weekend!
