The fifth sentence from my 23rd post was... drumroll please!
His side bar has all of his previous shnacky girls.
You're probably like, WTF? This post was my very first Hottie of the Week post, and I was explaining how I stole this idea from my friend Craig. He has a Shnacky of the Week post, shnacky being a hot girl. My first hottie was Matthew McConaughey, which is kind of fitting for this weekend as well. He is a UT graduate and huge fan afterall, and tomorrow is the single most important day of the year for any Horn fan. It is the Red River Shootout game against OU. Also, I'm planning on seeing his new movie, Two for the Money, this weekend. I'm not going to tag anyone by the way. I've seen this one on alot of blogs, so most of you have done it already.
Now for my crappy week. Really, it's just been a couple of crappy days. About 2 weeks ago I began to get sick. It started out as a very sore throat with some body aches and moved to a dry hacking cough that I haven't been able to shake. Wednesday, I woke up feeling especially crappy and decided not to go to work. I made an appointment to go to the doctor on Thursday morning because I already had an appointment to get my car detailed that afternoon. I had to have this done because it's a lease that I'm about to turn back in, and I was getting a big discount on the detail. I ran a couple of errands that I had been putting off on the way home from the carwash place and didn't get home til about 7. That is when I discovered there were things missing from my car, such as a couple of maps, my phone charger, my antenna, and my garage door opener. I can't get into my apartment without my garage door opener because I lock the deadbolt on my front door. I immediately called the car place and ofcourse they were closed. F*&#!!!!!!! I was beyond irate. My cell phone was on it's last leg so my next call to my sister-in-law went like this, "Pam! My phone's dying. Can't talk. I have to come spend the night. On my way now. Bye!". So, I had to drive to Georgetown to stay with my brother's family, and I didn't have my OTC cough meds so, I slept like, you guessed it, crap.
The next morning I had to cancel my doctor's appointment because I wasn't about to go in yesterday's clothes with sleep breath. Then, I had to wait for the car place to open, drive all the way to south Austin from Georgetown, and retreive my things so I could drive way back north and get dressed for work. This made me REALLY late for work, much more than my normal 15 minutes, which means I also had to work REALLY late. I finally got to the doctor today, and it turns out that I have bronchitis and a fever. JOY! After work today, I went to get my meds and, naturally I had to go to 2 pharmacies because the first didn't have my cough syrup with a narcotic. I need my cough syrup with a narcotic people! After the pharmacy, I picked up some KFC for dinner. It's good southern comfort food. This may be the narcotic talking, but why is cole slaw called cole slaw? Where did that come from? My friend Debs thinks I should take it easy this weekend, but I have stuff planned all weekend so that won't happen. However, I do think I'll cut my net session a little short tonight and go pass out now.
