The One with Hurricane Katrina

As I'm sure everyone knows Hurricane Katrina has reeked havoc on the Gulf coast. To everyone that has been effected by this, you have my deepest sympathies. Help is desperately needed, and I want to encourage everyone to please donate to the Red Cross if you can. Either go to the Red Cross or call 1-800-HELP NOW. I'm going to leave you with a very inspirational quote that I just read the other day on a fellow blogger's post (Retrospect).

I am only one
But, still, I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But, still, I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something
That I can do.

I'm still catching up with thank yous to everyone who came by Lam(b) yesterday. I'm thinking about the storm a lot today, probably because it is raining and my mom seems to have things under control at her house again.

You know, if everyone would take that quote to heart, this would be a much better world! Not just during times of hardship and disaster, but always! My heart just breaks for those folks.
